I bought one of these in hopes of being the nerdiest Munchkin in my group and thought it would assemble. I see now it's more one of those Warhammer miniatures than a ready-to-use item. How do you recommend I connect the figurine to the base? Pewter to pewter I guess...

I have one and I don't have it connected to to the base. The reason being that you would be unable to use the Epic counter on the other side.

I mean to connect the figurine to the turning portion of the base. It's three pieces: the level disc, the figurine, and the things that spins. The figurine and the thing that spins are meant to be united somehow.

Glue? Various brands of Cyanoacrylate glues work fine for pewter minis. Gels tend to be easier to work with, IME.

The biggest problem will probably be the layer of paint. You may need to scrape an area on both pieces to get a good bond if you're using glue or decide to do something like solder them together.
