After lurking in the forums for quite some time absorbing the knowledge and wisdom of those who came before me in the GURPS multi-verse have finally decided to make an account and join in the fun! But thats all you need to know for now.
I'm hoping i can give back a little with my meager skills and knowledge. It's very hard for me to start a game of gurps, I pretty much have to play online and most of the free virtual tabletops don't seem to work for any of my friends. The only one that works doesn't do more than maps so i needed a character sheet that both me and the players could see and interact with together in real time. This is my attempt at creating such a sheet using google's spreadsheet program. A link is here https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...thkey=CLCQ6bcK I'f you're so inclined feel free to take a look, critique it, laugh at it etc. Just hoping this might help GM's with a similar problem streamline their games a bit more :) |

Looks nice and comprehensive - I'll check it out further when I get the chance :-)

Have you tried Maptools by RPtools. Its what I use to run my gurps games. It does however require the user to setup port forwarding in many instances. If you have tried it before and all other plays can not connect at all, thats likely your problem.
Also not a bad write up. |

It looks like a fairly solid character sheet, but with one glaring omission - DR. You could either have a separate section for armor, a single line for DR, or possibly work it into your list of hit locations, but DR needs to be somewhere.
Unless I completely overlooked its location on the spreadsheet, which I admit is possible.

Thanks i'm glad you seem to think its coming along alright.
@suedodeus- Yes I had it in briefly but didn't like where it was so i took it out for now, I think i'll put it on the page with the hit locations and stuff. I'm still working on it and once i get it all looking nice i'll finish the notes and as many autocompletes as a can figure out formulas for. @zylosan- Actually maptools was my favorite tabletop and it worked great for me, but my players seemed to have a lot of trouble even with the tutorials on port forwarding so i eventually just dropped it. i'm using RPG tonight for combat maps... its not great but everyone can use it. @Wrathchild- Thanks that makes it feel more worth while to hear that. Tomorrow i plan to sit down and work on it a lot more so we'll see where it leads. :) Edit* Alright i sat down and did a bunch more work on the sheet. Most of the work I did on the status page, I of course added the DR there (thanks to suedodeus for reminding me, I had forgotten i took it out till i came back to the forums lol). One thing i did that i may reverse is the inclusion of the Fatigue/Hitpoints box on the main page and status page. I left it on the main page so you can quickly glance at your HP/FP from there, but that box is all auto complete, i pretty much figured the status page would handle any injuries and fp loss and set it to just auto complete the one on the main page from there.
