I'm talking about material seemingly more related to adventure and combat than to worldbuilding, and even if it's added detail, I imagine that such material could be comparable, in some degree, to what Martial Arts added to the Basic Set regarding such subjects. Put in other words, I'm saying that LTC 2 seemingly has stuff not exclusively useful for worldbuilders. And I don't think people wanting to add more details to the current combat rules in its relation to equipment is a very small niche of eccentric guys :-) I feel that that is true, yes.

Well, there are lots of reasons why certain rules were kicked to the supplemental works. "Only of use to worldbuilders" is one of those. "Only of use to those who like endless math and tables" is another. Both are subsets of "Only of use to people who prefer tinkering to grab-and-go gaming."
