When it's a weapon or striker? In either case stopping the weapon can't harm the attacker. OTOH, I'm still not convinced that normal parries (not counting deliberately aggressive techniques) ought to do damage at all. If I have a sword and someone punches at me; I'd think I'd parry with the flat against the forearm, while stepping out of the line of the punch. Now while that sets me up well for a GURPS Riposte, I don't see how it can hurt all that much on it's own.

They do if they have antlers

I'm not certain a GURPS Parry is the best model for how a deer uses antlers against wolves. AoA:Double used after Wait maneuvers seems more accurate.
