It shouldn't. A properly executed weapon parry with nearly any weapon uses minimal economy of motion, it makes no sense that it should be the same as a real strike. If it was the same parrying should unbalance U weapons. At best an offensive parry should be no better than a Defensive Attack.

And it does go far in explaining WHY wolves use wolf-pack tactics...
