let's supose, I hold a Huge Rock in my hands and get a Swiss Army Polearm as a treasure. I don't have any other items. One of my opponents has a Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment and can't hold another big item. Another oponent has his hands full and doesn't want to trade with me even for free, cause he doesn't want to hold that Huge Rock.
According to the rules:
Quote:
You may carry any number of small items, but only one Big one. You may not simply discard one Big item to play another; you must sell it, trade it, lose it to a Curse or Bad Stuff, or discard it to power a Class or Race ability.
Dwarves are an exception. They can carry any number of Big items. If you stop being a Dwarf and you have more than one Big item, you must immediately get rid of all but one. If it’s your turn, you can sell them. Otherwise, you must give them to the lowest-Level player(s) who can carry them! If any Big items are still left over, discard them.

So my other opponent states, i can't discard that Huge Rock and lose it due to any condition, according to the rules, so I have no chance to equip the Swiss Army Polearm. Is he correct?
I can see the reason in those rullings, if someone wants that rock... But for what reason can't i just throw it away, while noone wants it?
