I have been playing this game for quite a while alongside Teddy who posts here and I have read some of the older posts and was just wondering what everyone's favorite class/race combo people preferred while playing original fantasy munchkin

mine is Dwarf Bard

As far as Fantasy Munchkin, Gnome Wizard is the greatest combination, especially after the new rules update.

Even though I know the OP hates Wizards so much because of my abuses :) Sorry bro.

I considered buying more copies of the expansion that had Dryad and Magic Resistant and slipping them into the deck.

It is, and I started to put it, but I re-read the original post and saw the TC meant Fantasy, so I replaced it. But you're right, dude, British Navy is my all time favorite from any core set.
