For those that have more than one Cthulhu set, 2, 3. How would you rate that compared to Munchkin 2 and 3?

I own Cthulhu and all its expansions, and I'd say they're on par with the original and its first two expansions. The original might be a little better, but the difference is inconsequential.

I personally prefer Cthulhu. Main reason being it has the Bagpipes, and I find the conditions for those to be absolutely hilarious.

Good...I've heard really good things about Munchkin 6 just recently, never played. But I figured it have similar properties as Munchkin Quest dungeons. Anyway, I personally just discovered that Munchkin Cthulhu 4 will have the same dungeon concept.

As stated in some of the replies here, get the set that holds an interest for YOU.

But if you really don't know where to begin, go back to basics and get the Fantasy Munchkin Base set. It has the basis for all the rules that you need to know, plus it has the most expansions (ideal for the obsessive collector) and quite a few cool promos and foreign cards.

I personally have Fantasy Munchkin, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7, Rigged Demo, Fairy Dust, Munchkin Dice, The Wicked Dice, The Dice of Protection, The Life Counter, The Kill-O-Meter and I have new expansons on order as well (talk about obsessive collector, eh?)
I also have Super Munchkin and the Narrow 'S' Cape.
And I'm very tempted to get the Cthulhu sets too.

I have to say Munchkin Booty is my favorite. But that's because I love Pirates.

As for which you should choose, try to figure out which genre fits you best and pick that one up to start.

I don't want to be that guy, but to everyone giving advice to the OP, he posted this three years ago. I would think he's already made his decision.

Allnoob247, if you're still here, please tell us how this went. Thanks in advance.

Then please leave the moderating to the moderators.

There's been a spate of "junior mod" behavior around here lately (not just this instance or this poster, by any stretch). It's unwelcome AND it's against forum rules. It needs to stop. If you have a problem with a post, report it and Erik or I will take care of it.

I am still a HUGE fan of Supermunchkin and will create/sign/present any petitioning tool to SJ and his staff to give me more of this set.

Do you hear me? I have collectibles as bribes!
