I was unable to find the answer to this in my search of the site, so if it a redundant question, my apologies.
When given an item by a player that was cursed with Generosity, does the item given to you have to be played to the table immediately, or can it be put in your hand? Thanks in advance! |

If you received Items from in play, they stay on the table. If you received cards from the victim's hand, you can put them in your hand.
Unofficial answer :D |

I'm not an expert on the rules but from a purely logical point of view I would agree with the answer above.
The rules say (under 'Items') "an item card in your hand does not count until you play it". Simply put, a card in your hand is a CARD. A card in play is a THING - be it a monster, an item, an event, a spell with an effect, a creature under your control or whatever. You cannot turn a THING back into a CARD, unless (of course) another card says you can. |

Um, guys, this is a Curse, not a trade. The player gets an Item from the cursed player, which he then puts in his hand. Because he just received it, as long as he is not in combat, he may play it, but not in any way, shape or form is he forced to play it by any rule I know.
That is an official answer. |
