Another source for ready-made sets are in DF8, p.34, notes [1]--[8].
The problem with these, is that they're using the "unLow-teched" or "Unrevised" or whatever we're going to call them armor weights and costs - which are all being rewritten when LowTech comes out, weights are going down on metal armor while costs are going up and in some cases DRs are changing too IIRC. The rules being used here aren't the LowTech rules, they're the ones I put together a couple of years ago based on a lot of conversation here on the forums with Dan Howard, the LowTech author who did the armor rewrite, before LowTech was written.

Which means the folks using my revised weights and costs can't (and probably don't want to) use the weights and costs from Lite or DF8. But those are good for groups sticking with the Basic Set until Low Tech actually comes out!
