Minions and Hirelings, difference?

what are the differences if any. like for the card slay a minion, can you slay a hireling? (impossible and bites mixed).

Minions, Mooks, Hirelings, and Sidekicks are all interchangeable for purposes of cards that affect one type. You may only have ONE of those cards in play (not one apiece), unless you have a card or ability that allows you to have more. Any special abilities on the specific cards, however, should not be assumed to be generally applicable.

hi Andrew just a quick clarification. Does this mean that you can treat minions, mooks etc as a sidekick and fight them when you turn one up kicking down a door as per good, bad & munchkin rules for sidekicks? I assume yes based on what you say and what else I've seen written but others in the group are not sure.

You're mistaking Steeds and Sidekicks, since you can't fight Sidekicks like they're Monsters in any game, let alone TGBM. . .

oops my bad. guess i should have gone looked at the cards before asking the question rather than relying on my memory

Since this was a rules issue and not a card issue, you would also want to look over the rules.
