I'd missed that, thanks. But that still doesn't mean you can use them to propel your vehicle over the ground.

Consider if someone invented a 300$ 1G reactionless drive tomorrow- even if you mount it on your car, actually lifting from the ground in your driveway would be illegal- you'd have to drive to an airport, and with goverment the way it is, changing that would take years.

Thank you, Munin. That's a system I hadn't considered.
Computers are a step further on in my campaign (as in Transhuman Space) and must be Neural Net to handle AI software.
I might have used a different system for extrapolating storage too...

GURPS Spaceships isn't intended for designing ground vehicles. The thread on SS7 has some points on that. David Pulver is still working on the 4e vehicle design system.

But you could extrapolate for a small reentry vehicle...
[any ^ systems could easily bt replaced with non^ - but the ^ makes this a space taxi:)]

It can be run at x10 effective speed IF the computer treats it as a program of 1 greater Complexity. However, the application will [not] necessarily be able to make use of the greater speed: codebreaking yes, word processing probably not.
