Thank you, Munin. That's a system I hadn't considered.
Computers are a step further on in my campaign (as in Transhuman Space) and must be Neural Net to handle AI software. I might have used a different system for extrapolating storage too... Code:

GURPS Spaceships isn't intended for designing ground vehicles. The thread on SS7 has some points on that. David Pulver is still working on the 4e vehicle design system.

It can be run at x10 effective speed IF the computer treats it as a program of 1 greater Complexity. However, the application will [not] necessarily be able to make use of the greater speed: codebreaking yes, word processing probably not.
