I was playing a game yesterday and came upon this situation.
Player Level 7 Cleric was fighting a Level 10 Undead. The player had a Warrior class card in hand. The player used Turning and discarded a card to get a +3 bonus so that the player was level 10. Then the player decided to stop being a Cleric and instead be a Warrior so that the player would win ties. The argument was: A) When the player ceased being a Cleric, the Turning ability was un-powered and no longer valid, so the player became a level 7 Warrior. B) The player's discarded card is a constant representation of a +3 bonus as it powered the Turning ability. The player for that combat became a level 10 Warrior. We decided to go with A. What is the correct decision? |
