I've got another space marines-style question for ship design.
If you have use a hangar space, with it's fast air-lock capability, how many battlesuited troops could you deploy from it? Would you have to install passenger seating, or could that be regarded as part of the hangar facilities and weight allocation? Or would it be better to describe a new system, based on the Passenger Seating system, but with airlock capability and the seats eject the troops out the bottom of the hull on rails, through individual doors or with the belly doors opening right up. I'm having trouble describing it, but I've seen something similar in a recent movie or TV show though I can't recall what it was (the new Star Trek?). It would be used for deploying battlesuit troops in space to take over a crippled target or for orbit-to-high altitude drops.
