I am running a monster hunter campaign and I am wondering how the autoport ability works. My psionic currently is using the autoteleport ability from Psionic Powers with bulk compensation. Now my psionic wants to teleport the monsters with him. How would this work and should it be possible?

If your carrying capacity is high enough, you can Warp with one other person. This person has to be unresisting, essentially baggage like your regular gear. That is, you have to be able to pick them up, or have them grappled and pinned, or otherwise helpless. You can't just touch an active enemy in combat and disappear with them (taking vampires into the sunlight, letting go of the werewolves over the active volcano, etc).
RPK post from a 2005 thread about using Warp to take hostiles with you: http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread...007#post120007 You also can't teleport other's stuff just by touching it. You have to take it away from them and have it in your control first. If you want to teleport others against their will, you can buy an ability based on Affliction (Warp), rather than just Warp (the base for the autoteleport ability in MH or Psi Powers). When you build an ability that Afflicts an Advantage like Warp, you choose whether the ability teleports others, or gives them the ability to teleport. The choice is fixed at design time. Targets of such a Teleport Other attack resist the Affliction. |
