Mass Combat Spreadsheet

The other day I saw someone asking if anyone had done a spreadsheet for Mass Combat, I have created one, its pretty simple but it is handy, makes creation of armies a lot easier, and handles some basics of the battle stuff. I have uploaded it here:

Also if anyone has any suggestions as to how to improve it, or if you find a bug let me know and I will fix it.

*note its a .xlsx file so It may have some problems with data validation on older versions of excel.

OK made some fix ups, was a typo and some data validation changes, now works fine on the older excel versions, get the new one (see Below).

Hey guys, fell of the planet for a while but i am back now and reviewing my old stuff for a new game, as such i have dusted off my MC spreadsheet and updated it alot

there is a .xls version for anyone who doesnt have a newer version of excel, fair warning though only the first page has data validation rules(the dropdown lists for units and troop quality etc) set up because of the way old excel does things.

there is a link to a .xls version on google docs, i have managed to fix the data validation problem with the old version.

I would prefer not to convert it to the google docs spreadsheet as i am not familiar with it and there is a bit of stuff that this sheet does in the background

I tried the old excel version and the TL 0-5 page works like a charm. There's only a small glitch: I get the specials first when I click on the element drop-down box. When I directly click on the cell after that it shows the element drop-down correctly.

I'm not sure about what the problem is you talk about. Would it be possible to make a separate TL 6+ file that has working selections and stuff? This looks really useful and I'm sure I won't be the only one to appreciate it.
