I'm working on a template that requires that the user select five quirks. I thought that I could do this by including "needs(5 Quirks)" or "needs(5 Quirks =1pts)" like what we'd do with spell requirements and the like. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work quite right. It shows up as a requirement, but even taking the quirks doens't remove the red P. Suggestions?

I'm pretty sure there's no keyword for Quirks. Shouldn't be too hard to add, so I'll put that on the list.
For now, I'm not sure there's any good alternative.

Put all the quirks into a single [Group]. Or, since this is a template, load all the quirks that are intended to be available into a single selectx() list, with the requirement of taking 5 of them for -5 points. So, yeah, not really a good way to handle this.

Hmm. Okay. Since it isn't break anything right now, and if I'm feeling finicky I can remove that section of the needs() manually, I'll just leave the needs(5 Quirks) in there as a reminder. If Armin gets the keyword working in a later version (and it uses that same format) I'm set, if not it'll be easy enough to copy/replace as required.
Thanks for looking into it. |
