I had a game of Star Munchkin last night were I was fighting a, say level 5, monster & someone thru down a +3 grenade & someone else thru "...And Its Clone". Would the total combat strength of the monsters be 13 (3 + 5+5) or 16 (3+5 + 3+5)? I would think it would be 13 because the grenade says that it's +3 to one side of combat, but if you think of it as giving an Item to the monster then 16 would be correct.
Thoughts? |

The official stance that Andrew and I have taken and eventually made the rule of law in the latest reprints of many Munchkin games is that cards like ...And Its Clone do not double the bonuses given by one-shot Items. So, the combat strength of the Monsters is 13.

Thanks.
That would mean that only Monster Enhancers would apply to both? |

That is correct, and as the rules state, regardless of what order the enhancers are played, both apply to the original and the "copy," even if one is played after the copy was created.
