Your Powers Have Grown! [Bites]

Greetings! My name is Keith and I am the game owner for Munchkin Bites and Pants Macabre.

There is a card which is called "Your Powers Have Grown!" which reads: "Go through the Door discards, starting at the top, and take the first Power card that you can legally use."

My question is: is it okay for someone to pick up the door discards and search through them calculating when the best time to play the card is?

I don't seem to remember a restriction on looking at the discards.

Some of my players think it should be more of a random chance card that you kind of go fishing with to see what you get vice a calculated use of the card.

Thoughts?

The new FAQ is going to cover this. The new official version is that you cannot look the cards from the discards, unless playing a card that let you do so.

So, in this case, the player better play YPHG when he knows that the first Power he is going to get is one he wants. Or just trust his luck.

What Bone said. Except when directed by a card, perusing the discard piles is not allowed (and the next update will be explicit about that).
