Tournament Rules for GURPS Lite?

I was wondering if any of you knew of tournament rules (for short play like at cons) for a GURPS Lite game - I am doing research on using TRPGs - mainly GURPS and Swords and Wizardry to develop creative critical thinking skills in grad students. Any help you could suggest would be awesome.

I'm unsure on what you could need tournament rules for? RPGs are typically not competitive, so you wouldn't need any tournament rules.

Do you mean rules, per se, or short adventures such as those that can be done at a con (with plots simple enough to resolve during a single session)?

If you mean short adventures, that you could spring on grad students... Hm. I'd look at the free stuff at http://e23.sjgames.com and convert the simplest ones to GURPS Lite. (I.e., if it's already GURPS, check any pre-generated characters or hurdles to make sure that Lite can handle them clearly; if not GURPS, then scribble in the GURPS Lite stats.)
