Will 4e. be compatible with previous editions of Heavy Gear ?
Are you going to release updated versions of classic HG supplents ? If so, which ones ?

So the plans so far are just revise the core HG RPG with 4e ? Then if it sells support it with new supplements ? Will the the main HG RPG book be full of setting info like previous editions ? Is there a chance of supplements that focus on the various factions as a combined books such as : a core Terra Nova campaign setting book , a Confederated Northern City States supplement , a Allied Southern Territories supplement , The Badlands supplement , a Equiptment & Mecha guide ? These should include updated info based on changes in the Storyline if produced. If not, are you going to publish a conversion guide for 2nd n' 3rd eds ?

The goal is to have enough info for general play in the main book and do some smaller "focus" books on individual areas so GMs and players have enough to play and do stuff. The old Leaguebooks gave a great overview, but left people with a lot of "well, what do we do?" questions. We'd like to fix this.
All supplements will be set in a default period, with information on advancing the timeline for the location, so it's more useful for all players and less confusing than having leaguebooks set in 3 or 4 different cycles. -John

Hoody Freakin' Hoo! That was what I was wondering. I always felt that way too .We just didn't seem to get enough info we'd like to base games on. It was probally because of the split focus for both the mini & RPG parts of the game had to be balanced.I can't wait to see what you guys do for 4e HG. All Hail Heavy Gear!!!
