I needed these stats for my Cold War Pulp game, and thought I might as well post them. The Pistolet automatique modèle 1935A uses the same cartridge as the Petersen Device, although not loaded with quite as much powder. The French called it 7.65mm Longue, and it's a bit more powerful than .32 ACP.
The pistol is a full-size service weapon, although lighter than ones in 9x19mm. My estimate of the stats is: TL 6. Weapon Pistolet automatique modèle 1935A. Damage 2d pi- improved to 2d with the police-issue hollow-point ammunition. Acc 2 Range 130/1,500 Weight 1.8/0.2 RoF 3 Shots 8+1 (3) ST 8 Bulk -2 Rcl 2 Cost $550/$30 LC 3

Truly reliable HP at these velocities might be anachronistic before c. 1990. At least these would be my estimates based on reading from those times. Expert gunsmithing involving the feed ramps might help the auto feed reliability problem i.e. raise the Malf stat with HP.

There are GURPS 3E stats for this gun in World War II: Return to Honor, which have been unofficially updated to GURPS 4E.
The relevant stats for the GURPS 3E version are 1/2D 150, Max 1850, Wgt 2, Awt: 0.3. Other relevant stats are the same as yours. Hans presumably did the stats, since he's listed in the book's credits. |
