Default Ran the Old School Adventure last night! - Spoilers Possible

First, if you are going to be playing this adventure; there will be spoilers below.

So I had a chance to run the Old School Adventure from TFT Adventures 2 book last night for my wife and I. She ran two characters, a 36 point "Monster Hunter" female that wields a Lt. Crossbow and has a magical bane vs undead dagger. Her other character was a temporary use character a 35 pt female thief.

I ran a GM/PC 36-point barbarian with a two-handed sword and a 36-point female dwarf who wields a hammer & shield and is a fun-loving and carousing sort!

Really a good adventure for us, have always loved the village of Bendwyn. We do a lot of our adventures/storylines in and around Dran and the surrounding (my campaign world) regions and have visited Bendwy numerous times with assorted characters.

The battle with the first skeleton was a bad one for my barbarian - the skeleton got in a real good hit! Good thing that the dwarf has the physicker talent and they found the healing potion in the skull.

The battle with the Luckspiders was also hard - both the dwarf and barbarian took some damage! My wife's monster hunter did a good job with her lt. crossbow (having a adj DX of 14 really helps...). The thief is not a fighter and she hung back holding the torch.

The battle with the 6 skeletons after going through the gate was an epic battle. One of the skeletons broke its sword and engaged the dwarf in HTH. The barbarian was attacked by several skeltons - who finished him off! The dwarf killed the skeleton that was in HTH with her, but another skeleton finished her off.

My wife's monster hunter character was using her magical bane vs the undead dagger, but rolling really bad, she finally used her Climbing talent to get out of the battle but not before taking some damage too.

She and the thief fled back to Bendwyn and reported the happenings to Max Beerfoam and Murad Wallholder. Max sent one of his men to Bridgefort to seek the aid of the Duke's soldiers.

After a couple of days, we are headed back to the ruins for round two!

Great adventure! Brutal as always!
