Price of bows based on ST of bow?

I am using GCS to create a character for a player and the price of all the muscle powered missile weapons increase based on the ST of the bow. I can't find any reference to this in the Basic rules. Can anyone point out the rules reference for this?

No, it's not RAW.

It's a common house rule that Rich implemented. You can just adjust the cost of whatever you get to the base cost.
