Shield Bearer, Shield Mastery and Covering for others.

Hello everyone.

Would Shield Mastery in your eyes provide cover for others as well? I am imagining a Knight with a large shield covering a dragons breath for a fair maiden etc. How would you do this mechanically?

My first thought would be to use Sacrificial Block from Adventurers (p.28).
