Default What lies beyond the Map?

Are there any official plans for the regions around Southern Elyntia?

I already did it, decades ago. ;-) My campaign extended the map by several similar maps in all directions.

Well, I certainly could do it… but see, the Time-Space Continuum is already twisted up with all these other realities, and the lack of navigational charts rather complicates long-distance travel and trade.

For example, suppose — hypothetically of course, just choosing something totally at random — that one has a big island, or perhaps even a cluster of them, and the people who live there have a prosperous sea trade with Southern Elyntia and other nearby regions.

Exactly which direction do they sail to get from home to Tro? What other ports sit along that coast, especially further to the East? Is there nothing but pirates to the South? Are there sea routes to the North and West?

Obviously many people have made up their own answers to those questions, and so can I. But there may be Official SJG Answers (either already given or in the works now), and I am hesitant to plant my own flags wherever they are likely to be uprooted later by Eminent Domain.

Hasn't the SJG implicit policy been to provide disconnected pieces of Cidri and leave it to the GMs to stitch these together as needed?

I dunno. Although I've been playing SJG stuff like Ogre and Illuminati for decades, I'm effectively a total newcomer to TFT. I got Melee (blue box edition) a long, long, long time ago, played it a few times, and didn't really like it — so I never even tried Wizard, let alone The Fantasy Trip.

And therefore I know literally nothing about the world or lore of Cidri, except what it says in the new material. Which ain't much, really.
