Hey, were you guys at Steve Jackson Games aware that Pat Hidy WANTED to be a part of this game?
Check out his response here! Maybe you can get him to do some new art work for upcoming releases??? God knows all us fans out here would desperately love to see him back on the team! |

It would certainly be fun to get some of his artwork into the new product line! Maybe they'll find a way to make that work with an upcoming kickstarter for new markers or MH tiles or something.

It is nice to know that SJG tried to get in touch for the Legacy Edition, and too bad connection wasn't made. Hidy's B&W illustrations for TFT were outstanding, exhibiting flair and recognizable style. Assuming (his? her?) style hasn't changed from all those years ago, it would be great to have Hidy contributing new art for our beloved TFT.

With the relative flood of new material for TFT it would be great to see some new artwork from Pat Hidy. Make it happen guys!

Robert Phillips is listed as doing the illustrations in original ITL/AM/AW (and Orb Quest cover). He did an amazing job, and the style fits with the Pat Hidy illustrations really well.
The illustrations credit for original Death Test 2 is listed as Roger Beasley (and you can see it signed on the interior illustrations), who also did a good job though it tends to be a bit more stylized. I'm not clear if he or Hidy or someone else did the DT2 counter art, apart from the pike ax guy who matches Beasley's interior illustration, so my guess is those counters are Beasley. |
