How to be a GURPS GM reprint "being prepared" on Createspace

I noticed today that How to Be a GURPS GM is "being prepared" for Createspace. Also noticed the new covers (in Warehouse 23), which weren't on the original file. Very exciting...

B-b-but that means that they're doing POD editions. Can it be?

Here's hoping that it's a big success for them, if that's what's happening.

It was PDF only and a run is being made for the DFRPG so I am surprised at this.

It's conceivable that getting a run printed for the DFRPG by Createspace is cost-effective, which would mean that the book was also available via PoD thereafter.

That is what I was wondering. Because if its true that could be a huge deal as regards other books. So I am hoping to hear feedback from staff.
Also it appears to mean that they had good results with the experiment so far.

That's my guess. The three current GURPS offerings from Createspace have also been well-received, so it makes sense from that perspective as well. I, for one, welcome our new GURPS POD overlords.

This may simply be that, having made the necessary changes to the source files to allow for a print run, they've already made the changes necessary to support printing at CreateSpace, so they just decided to go ahead and do that.

The thing is the cost of 1 print using CreateSpace and the cost per print for a standard run. Most books wont get printed because the cost for a run is too high. Since they already are doing a run for this book it is interesting that they opted for this rather than a larger run.
That seems to indicate the profit margin is not too far off.
If true it bodes well for other books.
It is also possible they are doing it this way to create more options for newcomers to GURPS.
