Things I will do to support GURPS Discworld

Usually I'd say I'd prefer to support people running GURPS games and forming groups rather than books, but I think SJ Games appears to at least be taking a small chance in a print edition it would be good to support GURPS Discworld more than I do with my usual purchase of PDFs from time to time.


So what to do:

So far I'm planning to run my first convention game with it.

Also I'll try writing my first for real review on a RPG site.

Other ideas I've had were purchasing an additional copy and donating it as a prize for a raffle or school library.

I've mentioned it on the Discworld mailing list and Facebook pages.

I intend to try running it at my local games shop. I've not done this kind of thing before.

Obviously I'll be buying myself a copy (and a PDF if that becomes an option). I have gamer friends that may not be watching this closely who would appreciate it, so I'll be putting the word out where I can (my social media presence is diddly-and-or-squat but whatever).

But folks who do have some sort of social media thingamy (Facebook, G+, The Twitters, whatever) can help just by posting excitedly about the book going to the printer, then posting again when we have a proper image and info page, and again when we can order :) And again when there's reviews to link to!
