+5/+10 and the extra treasures

And a second question of mine. I tried to search it, but I couldnt find the answer.
If i play a card with +5/+10 to the monster, that adds extra treasures on a monster ANOTHER player is fighting, do i get the extra treasures or him? I always thought it would be me, until someone else said, its the player fighting, no matter who played the card.

It's the player fighting the monster. He's the one at greater risk, so he should get the reward.
