Hi fellow munchkins!:)
We had our first Star-Munchkin game tonight and 2 questions came up: 1.) I have the millennium pinguin spaceship that says i can remove cards before my run away attempt to get +1 for each card. Thanks to my awesome friends i face 4 monsters, and i want to make sure to escape them all, so i discard 4 cards and get + 4 to my normal 5 and 6 run. They say i only get this buff before the first run away attempt, but the next one (for the second monster) the buff is gone, i argued that this buff would last for all my attempts this fight. What is your opinion here? 2.) My girlfriend and i faced the Cthulhu from Star munchkin, he kills us both (we fail to run away). His effect text says, that every player who doesn't get caught from Cthulhu, gets a level to taunt the victims even more. The 3 other players now argue, that since we both died (and therefore triggered the effect of Cthulhu), they rise 2 levels each. I said, that this is nonsense, because the text says everyone who didn't get caught, meaning "everyone who is not IN the fight". Some ideas here guys?=) Edit: we just discovered that ruling in the FAQ-Section, and we were right. They don't go up 2 Levels. Just if we would face 2 Cthulhus they would get 2 levels (if we both died). Thanks a lot for your time :) Last edited by Az_Rael; 06-06-2015 at 07:39 PM. |

A bonus to Run Away is good for the entire process of Running Away, unless the card giving the bonus says it's for only one roll. So, that bonus was good against all the Monsters you were facing.
