Voodoo Zombie Dispute

So the Voodoo zombie says that When a curse is on the top of the door discards at the start of the players turn you may put it in your hand before kicking down the door. The question we have is if we are able to take all the curses if there are multiple curses at the top of the discard. The other person argues that this would be legal because there would still be a curse at the top of the discard before the door is kicked. But if this were true that card would be flat out over powered. You could flash like 5 level down curses and **** someone up than take all those cards back and play them again.

So the question is how many curse cards can you pull from the discards with the Voodoo Zombie Gift of the Loa
