Hello again, everyone, and happy new year!
As I mentioned last time, I am trying to adapt Warhammer 40k to GURPS for a campaign I am planning. One thing I would like to have, though, is a really comprehensive random mutation table. So, if anyone has good online resources about this kind of thing, this stuff is more than welcome in this thread. However, one particular problem I wanted to deal with is more ridiculous mutations. I want, hopefully, to have a system where the table can easily suggest this and this kind of thing. I have some ideas more or less figured out in my head, but it would be nice if the system could suggest something like "The mutant grows 3 elephant trunks out of his forehead". Where the bolded parts are stuff that was rolled on the table. But it is kinda hard to find/make a body location table with this kind of detail. Worse yet, given the bizarre kinds of mutations that might show up, any table that detailed might be obsolete right out of the bat. Have any of you dealt with a similar problem? Has anyone seen any kind of random table that accounted for these 2 issues? Thanks in advance, guys! |

Looks a bit complicated for a standard d6 table; you may need make a table of mutations and then roll for quantity on anything that should have one.

Sure, sure, I didn't mean that I wanted it all to fit in a single table. In fact, the second part of my post concerns mostly how to make a sub-table pertaining body parts. Sorry for the confusion.

Using the hit location table for body parts would probably work.

Sure, but I kinda hoped for something a little more detailed.
