With all "No Value" Items, do you not have to lose the most expensive?

3. If a card forces you to discard your most expensive item, but you only have items in play that state "no value", would you select one of those to discard or are you safe from losing an item?

You would have to pick one. "No Value" is the same as 0 G.P., and that situation is no different than if all the Items you had in play were 600 G.P.
