Just need to clarify something.
So my brother drew the Moon Maidens. He couldn't beat them so he decided to run. The run away attempt was a success. My question is regarding the bad stuff. It says "They catch you, but you return unharmed,and your uncontrollable giggling causes the other party members to whack you. Turn your hand face up and let each other player choose a card." So I was wondering. Is this a situation like the floating nose where the run away attempt doesnt matter? Cuz it says "they catch you" would he still take the bad stuff?

No. Bad Stuff needs to say that you cannot flee, escape and/or Run Away if the remainder of the Bad Stuff is meant to be applied no matter what. By saying one of those things, they override the rule that allows you to try to Run Away. Thus, the Moon Maidens only catch you if you fail to escape them.
