For Only $24.95 ...

After reading the 3/30 Daily Illuminator, I would like to say thank you very much to SJG for doing what you can to hold the price of a Munchkin set at $24.95. I'm sure it hasn't been easy, especially since the company's expenses surely *haven't* held steady since 2001, but it's greatly appreciated by this fan, and, I suspect, by many more.

This is the big reason I stand by Steve Jackson Games. You folks think of the customers first, and you take very good care of us. Maybe even spoil us a little. Thanks again!

I'd say they spoil us a lot. The fact that Andrew and other SJG folks visit these forums regularly shows just how committed they are to staying in touch with their player base. :)

Thanks, guys! We wanted to be as upfront and open about the upcoming changes -- and why we are making the changes -- as possible. I'm happy to see that everyone understands why we have to tweak the components.

And yeah, that $24.95 price point will remain as long as we can make the numbers work. Fingers crossed that costs don't continue to rise as they have been for the last three or four years.

Hopefully it won't mean that SJGames will be reverting back to the old box dividers? I rather like the 4 sections.

You know... Last time I was in Target, I saw an original Munchkin "marked down" from $29.99 to $19.99
