Does the item a Hireling is carrying have to be specific to its Class/Race?
Ex: Say I have a Bard Hireling. Does the item my Hireling carries have to say "Useable by Bard Only" or can it be any Item so long as it doesn't say "Not Useable by Bard" (like the Magnificent Hat or Spiky Knees). SS

You follow the card text. If the card says it can carry and use one item that is legal for a Bard to use, then as long as the item is legal for a Bard, then it should be fine. It doesn't have to be a Bard specific item. In order for it to be limited like that, the card would have to say something like, "may carry and use one item that is Usable by Bard Only".

Note also that a Class-based Hireling can't use Items that are Usable only by a certain Race of munchkins and vice versa. Class-based Hirelings have no Race, not even Human. You should also consider the sex of the Hireling (look at the art to tell) when determining if the Item is Usable Only by Males or Females.

The combination of the above answers is what I figured. We just wanted to make sure. Thanks. :)
