Treat runaround attacks as side attacks.
To block, which would be at -2, the attacker must have ran from the shield side. If they came from the weapon side then you cannot use the shield to block unless you have the double-jointed advantage.
To parry, which would be at -2, the attacker must have ran from the weapon side. If they came from the shield side then you cannot use the weapon to parry unless you have the double-jointed advantage.
