I'm still adding abilities to my cosmic power pool super, and a new power I think will be infinitely useful to this guy has come to mind.

How would I pull of a power that allows him to alter his physical appearance... and make the alterations permanent? I'm leaning towards some version of shapeshifting, but that power/ability is... hard to work with... Any thoughts?
