Good point regarding letting the PCs figure out how to deal with the situation, and rolling with it.
And I like your ideas for what's in each of the facilities.
I won't have time to read Ciaphas Cain in time for the game (we've started), but I've considered picking them up when I've been going down to buy my Astartes-books-fix :)

I'll do a resume of what the PC's have done so far ASAP and post it. :)
