The thing I'm proudest of: I spent hours and hours going through all of the books I could get my hands on and compiling a list of
character templates relevant to a GURPS Traveller campaign. It's great that GURPS character design can do
anything, but I find it is very useful to give players who are new to tabletop RPGs a list of possible ideas and work from there.
I came up with
SEVENTY relevant templates, where 45 of them are likely to be more relevant and familiar ("astronaut", "spy") and the remaining templates are somewhat zany but I bet will spark your creativity ("deep-cover primitive-world observer"). Lists like the
GURPS Repository and
GURPS Wiki were helpful but just limiting the available choices to just "templates relevant to a GURPS Traveller campaign" is a big help to me. Hopefully it will help someone else!

I'd certainly welcome notes on any published templates that I missed. This was a PITA but it has already borne fruit -- a new player chose "deposed planetary ruler."
