Re: Quick Question: Can Detect have both Sense-Based and Analysis Only?
"Analysis only" requires how many senses? Does it require specific senses? I know it requires knowledge of the existence/location of the thing being analyzed, but can it be done without sensory input at all (it's inside the bag on the table in front of me)?
Any of the above could make it sufficiently different from say "Reverse Vision Based" or "Reverse chi-scan based".
If they require the same senses, then I'd say they overlap too much.
Hmm, now that I think about it, "X only" where X is any sense automatically assumes you know the existence/location of the thing because you can sense it. Seems they must necessarily overlap.
