The dramatic value of that to the story sounds immense! Call it the "Give Until It Hurts" tactic. Even though you don't
have to kill yourself any longer powering spells (when it's coming from a mana reserve) you can still
choose to in life-and-death situations, when the fate of the kingdom, your best friend's life, or the existence of the whole universe is at stake. Be a great test of character!
