From TOS there are clearly Empress Marava type ships used by Mudd, and Cyrano Jones, for two big examples, similar ships were in Discovery, IIRC. DS9 adds in the smaller runabouts.

I would hand wave and just use it, add nacelles to taste, replace the cold sleep pod with a transporter pad.

Use the rest, more or less as is.
