Don't know which datafiles you've gotten your hands on, but as far as I know there is no MH Champions Templates file. All of the official templates are in the base datafile. In fact, there are only four MH data files.
GURPS Monster Hunters 1 - Champions.gdf
GURPS Monster Hunters 4 - Sidekicks.gdf
GURPS Monster Hunters Loadouts.gdf
GURPS Monster Hunters Remove Unnecessary Traits.gdf
If you have the latest data update installed the description foe the MH1 gdf should list a date of 01/24/2020 while MH4 should list 05/05/2021. If not make sure to install the latest
data update.
(there is also no official High-Tech Equipment file: just files for High-Tech and the two Pulp Guns volumes)
