Map maps maps!!!

Hold on! Now that I think about it, I've been a gamer since 76ish, and didn't become a cartographer until a decade later. But I digress...

I've always tried to have some sort of tactical maps for every encounter. Even those that weren't supposed to lead to violence (must keep the players guessing). For my old Undermountain campaign I used made my own dungeon tiles. However, more often than not I'd use dry erase markers on a Chessex vinyl hex mat.
