What are some notable kinds of Uplifts? (1 Sentence a-piece)
K-10s: Of all the uplifts, Canis Sapiens Brin are the most likely to remain on good terms with humans, as the pack mentality that made their biological antecedents such wonderful companions were considered desirable traits by genetic designers.

Silvesters: As uplifts based on some of the world's most successful dedicated predators, Felis Sapiens Brin tend to create communities of loosely-affiliated family groups who stake out territory in the remaining forests of the high latitudes and high altitudes, where they carefully tend herbivore populations as a form of enlightened self-interest.

NovaCoons: Originally meant as an experiment in cognitive design and never really intended for release to market, about six dozen of the unexpectedly brilliant Procyon Sapiens Brin escaped from the corporate lab outside of Fort Collins, Colorado, with the help of some monkey-wrenchers who arranged a power-outage.

Delphies: Some of the most intolerant of all uplifts, Delphinidae Sapiens Apollus work hard to clean up the slowly recovering oceans, and react with carefully planned, frequently lethal violence to any polluters who make that job more difficult.

Octopodes: Originally designed to assist with submarine tasks, especially pollution control and resource extraction in the world's oceans, Enteroctopus Sapiens Cthulhu (they chose the designation, themselves, by popular vote) the octopodes bear the least biological resemblance to their genetic antecedents, as the engineers transformed them to K-reproduction strategies (small numbers of children produced over time) so as to increase lifespans.

Question 17: In the initial nuclear exchange, who were the belligerents?

Dice Roll: 3 sentences.

(Took me a little while to think of one.)
