Surrounded by the enemy, the party shivers within the shuttle trying to find a safe exit; the situation looking dire, each step the droids take towards the shuttle tolls like a bell announcing their death…
“I need a weapon” mutters the Ewok as she looks at her lightsaber and her broken exo with indifference and shame… She doesn’t seem to agree in making a path through the droids with her sword… perhaps Bibingui feels she’s more of a danger to her friends than to her enemies? Nevertheless, she rejects becoming a liability, and suggests Jojo they both use the driver’s seat panel as a shield… “We must get out ASAP!”, Bibingui’s goal is clear but still… no plan! With Jojo’s help, Bibingui manages to lift the panel. He at least understands Bibingui wants to survive.
Jojo gives the party advice, “Lay down so at least you avoid the third shooter, the miasma and the heat should make it harder for them to see, we also have a bit of shadow…”. K10 takes point with Bibingui and braces for the assault, ready to shoot. Can they make it?
Meanwhile, Vanta lies behind the door watching for the droids, they’re closing in. He doesn’t seem to pay much attention to his friends, for he’s focused in holding his position…
Suddenly all of you notice light flashing about the shuttle, dead silence kicks in: The droids are in front of the door, ready to start the assault.
But Vanta won’t budge an inch.
The door slides open, and the droids notice Vanta, his face dramatically coming out of the dark, and the sound of his breather breaking the silence… With a trigger for a heart, Vanta comes out of the black and shoots the droids down, his blaster melting their armor and shifting through every part of them.
Blood is in his nightmares, where he cut his teeth.
The force stands by your side at the beginning of this round, with two consecutive critical successes Vanta beats the droids and now you have a chance to get out of the bus, quickly.
