Note that it is not entirely clear whether you use your DX based or IQ based spell skill with this perk. I suspect the intent is IQ based, but it could be a reasonable perk either way, so ask the GM before you drop a point on it.
Essentially it's just a specific case of Skill Adaptation, allowing your spell skill to substitute for Innate Attack only to make attack rolls with this one spell.
