However using the Loyalty Results examples from
GURPS Social Engineering, p. 76 a
Neutral reaction means they do minimal work to keep complaints to a minimum. If the bonus from Social Regard bumped that to
Good change "The NPC likes the PCs and the position" to The NPC fears the PC and will be loyal and work hard.
Your not penalizing the bonus so much as changing the flavor of it.
For Venerated it to polite over protectiveness.
